GMI Cloud Expands SCALE Accelerator Through Collaboration with OpenAI for Startups

SCALE founders gain access to OpenAI API credits, ChatGPT Business, and Codex, alongside GMI Cloud's AI infrastructure, technical mentorship, and startup ecosystem.

SAN FRANCISCO, October 12, 2026 — GMI Cloud, an AI-native infrastructure provider, today announced that its SCALE accelerator is collaborating with OpenAI for Startups to expand the resources available to early-stage AI companies. Through this collaboration, eligible startups in the current SCALE cohort can access OpenAI's startup benefits, including $5,000 in API credits and three months of ChatGPT Business with Codex, complementing GMI Cloud's inference and compute infrastructure, technical expertise, and mentorship programs.

The collaboration advances GMI Cloud's mission to help the next generation of AI-native companies build, deploy, and scale production-ready applications. By bringing together access to leading AI models and development tools with scalable infrastructure, SCALE helps founders accelerate product development, optimize deployment costs, and overcome technical barriers to growth.

Through OpenAI for Startups, participating teams gain additional resources to accelerate AI development and experimentation. GMI Cloud complements these benefits with access to its AI infrastructure stack, including Inference Engine, Cluster Engine, and GPU computing resources, enabling founders to develop, deploy, and optimize AI workloads as their products mature.

SCALE by GMI Cloud is an equity-free accelerator designed for technical founders building AI-native products, from early product development through pre-Series A.

The program goes beyond infrastructure credits to provide hands-on support, including 1:1 mentorship, architecture reviews, technical workshops, go-to-market guidance, and connections to investors and industry partners.

Through the expanded program, eligible startups can access:

• OpenAI startup benefits: $5,000 in API credits valid for 12 months, Tier 5 rate limits, and three months of ChatGPT Business with Codex access.

SCALE's inaugural cohort brought together 25 AI startups that have collectively raised $26 million, demonstrating the momentum of its founder community.

The current cohort will conclude with Demo Day on October 23, 2026, where participating founders will showcase their products and progress to investors and ecosystem partners.
