We’re excited to announce the official release of CE-BMaaS Service, our on-demand bare-metal platform with a fully self-service console at GMI Cloud. For the first time, users can spin up dedicated servers directly online, manage them in real time, and pay in the way that best fits their workloads.
What’s New in CE-BMaaS
- Streamlined Launch
A new one-stop launch page replaces the old three-step process, making it faster and more intuitive to provision servers. - Flexible Billing
Choose between prepaid plans for predictable costs or pay-as-you-go for dynamic workloads. - Networking Built-In
Each instance is provisioned within a virtual private environment (VPC + subnet), simplifying connectivity and security. - Persistent IPs
Users can reserve and keep their external IP addresses for long-term stability (available as an add-on). - Monitoring & Control
Real-time performance monitoring is available directly in the instance detail page, with firewall support to control access. - Standardized Instance Types
Instance specifications are now formalized for consistent API usage.
Why This Matters
With CE-BMaaS, organizations gain the performance of bare metal with the usability of the cloud. Developers can launch dedicated servers in minutes instead of days. Teams gain predictable cost models that fit both steady and spiky workloads. And enterprises can get more control over their infrastructure—without sacrificing speed.

Looking Ahead
This is our version one release. We know it’s only the beginning—some features are still limited, and there’s room to grow. Starting this week, we’ll begin iterating rapidly to expand network customization, improve monitoring, and introduce more advanced controls.
Our vision is simple: make bare-metal as easy to consume as any other cloud resource—without compromise.
