GMI Cloud at The AI Conference: From Inspiring Keynotes to Walking Robot-Dogs!

GMI Cloud was thrilled to be a part of the AI Conference in San Francisco on September 10th and 11th, 2024! This wasn’t just another conference — it was a melting pot of AI enthusiasts, thought leaders, and innovators from across the world, all coming together to explore the future of AI. And we didn’t just attend — we made sure to leave our mark!

Why should you care? The AI Conference wasn’t just about listening to industry professionals (although some of the best were present!). It was also about getting up close with cutting-edge technology and meeting the people who are driving the AI revolution — like us at GMI. Whether you stopped by our booth for a chat or chance to win one of our awesome raffle prizes, we were there to share how we’re making high-performance cloud computing accessible for AI professionals everywhere. And we had some fun while doing it!

Why We Were There: Sharing the Power of GMI Cloud GMI Cloud’s mission is simple: provide cost-effective, high-performance cloud infrastructure that powers the AI innovations of today and tomorrow. At our booth, we spent time connecting with AI professionals and showcasing the unique advantages of our platform. Whether it’s running demanding AI models or scaling ML experiments, GMI Cloud offers the tools you need to succeed. We talked shop about our GPU-powered infrastructure, the flexibility of our platform, and how we’re helping businesses of all sizes unlock the potential of AI without breaking the bank!

Raffles and Robots: Stealing the Show Of course, it wasn’t all work and no play. Our booth was buzzing with excitement, thanks to not one, but two exciting raffles. On day one, we gave away a high-tech drone! Day two brought even more buzz with our limited edition LEGO sets, which had attendees lining up for a chance to win.

And speaking of fun, one of the most talked-about moments at the conference happened right across from our booth. T0bor Life debuted their robot dogs and human-like robots for the first time in the U.S., and we had front-row seats to the action! But the real showstopper? On day two, our CEO, Alex Yeh, brought his dog, Snow, to the event. In a moment of AI meets playtime, T0bor Life’s robot dog took Snow on a walk around the event! It was a perfect mix of innovation and fun, and definitely a crowd favorite. Check out the YouTube video HERE!

Inspiring Keynotes from AI Pioneers The conference wasn’t just about the cool tech, though. We were there to learn from some of the best minds in the AI industry. One of the standout keynotes came from none other than Andrew Ng, a pioneer in AI and machine learning. His talk centered around the role AI plays in making healthcare more accessible, which struck a chord with us at GMI Cloud. We believe in the power of technology to create equal opportunities — whether it’s healthcare or high-performance computing. Andrew’s message reminded us of the important role AI has in shaping a better, more inclusive future.
