What 19 teams shipped at Cursor Codechella Victoria
Alhwyn Geonzon is a GMI Clouder, one of the community ambassadors who build with GMI Cloud and bring it to their local scene. In August, he brought it to Cursor Codechella Victoria, a one-day hackathon where 19 teams shipped working projects. This is his recap of what they built.

Cursor Community ran the event. Builders filled the room, picked a stack, built through the day, and closed with three-minute demos and awards. Four partners backed the tracks: Convex for the backend, Solana for wallets and chain logic, GMI Cloud for model inference, and Shipaton for teams shipping a mobile app. Event details live at cursorvictoria.com.
Four tracks, one day
Teams picked a track when they signed up on the sheet. Several picked two, so a few projects appear under more than one heading below.

Doxx Me
You pick what to share. When a data broker buys it, the money lands in a Solana wallet. Live at doxxme.net with live location, search history, Spotify, and Discord as data sources. Plaid bank connections were on the roadmap. Team: Paurav H. Param, Nathan Pannell, Christopher Huk. Convex and Solana.
Plotting with Friends

Photobooth

GMI Cloud
Six teams ran inference on GMI Cloud during the sprint. The common thread was speed to first result: pick a model from the catalog, hit the OpenAI-compatible endpoint, ship.
