GMI Summer Signal ’26
The Modernrenaissance
A one-day exhibition summit on multimodal inference at scale.
Talks on stage. Artifacts on the floor. A digital gallery created by the room.
[ Partner ]
The room we’re building with.
Partners across every modality → image, voice, video, world, and agents → shaping what multimodal looks like in production.
[ Thesis ]
The first Renaissance put art, science, and engineering into one mind. The Modern Renaissance brings that convergence back at system scale.
Vision, language, sound, motion, and reasoning are no longer separate experiences. They are becoming one unified stack. This is where GMI comes in.

[ The Core Workflow ]
One artifact.
Four transformations.
Across the afternoon, a shared artifact will move through the multimodal stack. Each featured partner contributes one layer, then passes it forward.
Phase_01 // Image

Seeing gives it form.
The initial concept crystallizes into high-fidelity edge pixels, capturing the pure visual composition.
Phase_02 // Voice

Speaking gives it presence.
Acoustic properties are synthesized. The static boundaries begin to emit frequencies and contextual dialogue.
Phase_03 // Video

Moving gives it performance.
Timecode maps into the grid. Kinematics and timeline vectors introduce fluid motion across the frames.
Phase_04 // World

Worlds gives it an environment.
The matrix expands. The artifact shatters its viewport and steps into a fully generative, reactive simulation grid.

[ The Challenge ]
Create a Modern Renaissance Gallery
Bring something you made, or build it in the room. Create an artifact that belongs in the museum of the next Renaissance: a portrait, machine, living painting, future relic, city fragment, impossible invention, or generated world scene.

FAQ
GMI Summer Signal ’26: The Modern Renaissance is GMI Cloud’s flagship one-day multimodal AI summit. It brings together the labs, partners, and builders defining the multimodal era — across image, voice, video, world models, and agents — for keynotes, live demos, and a living digital gallery of AI-created work. The through-line: the shift from multimodal to agentic AI.
Monday, September 14, 2026, at the Exploratorium in San Francisco. Doors open at 3pm. Full program timing will be shared closer to the event.
Founders, engineers, and researchers building across the multimodal and agentic stack — plus enterprise leaders, product teams, and investors exploring what’s next. The room is ~200 curated guests, intimate by design.
Summer Signal is invite-only to keep the room curated. Request an invite and we will confirm your spot by email.
Yes. Beyond the stage, the digital gallery features live demo stations where you can try partners’ tools and create your own artifact on GMI Studio — plus a community challenge where AI-created work is submitted and showcased on event day. Submissions are open now and close before the event.
Founders and teams from the labs defining multimodal and agentic AI — spanning image, voice, video, world models, and agents. The full lineup is rolling out now — follow along for reveals.
We work with a select group of partners and sponsors across the multimodal and agentic stack. Reach out to [email protected] to explore speaking, demo, or sponsorship options.
